The mission of the Molecular Biology Facilities is to provide molecular biology products, services, and support to research members of the Tarek Ahmed Juffali Research Chair in Red Sea Ecology. We work with a wide range of molecular biology techniques and instruments. This includes several extractions and assessment systems of DNA, RNA, protein, and other molecules of interest. We also prepare samples for downstream applications such as Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), Proteomics and Metabolomics with the Biosciences Core Laboratory.
