On the 4th March, Carlos Duarte presented at the World Ocean Forum. He joined Helen Agren (Swedish Ministry) Vera Coelho (Oceana Europe) and Dorothee Herr (IUCN polar and global Oceans) for this #OceanSummit panel discussion on "The Ocean vs climate change”.
In particular, he highlighted the leadership of the Red Sea Development Company in Saudi Arabia, for the use of regenerative tourism for our oceans.
He closed the #OceanSummit discussion by expressing my wish that we empower our young. These generations need to be part of the critical negotiations (climate, biodiversity, food and oceans) that will shape their future.
