What in the world is this? This impressive and almost futuristic vehicle is the Racebird – the world’s first all-electric racing boat designed by superstar engineer Sophi Horn, founder and Chairman of SeaBird Technologies. The unique design makes it suitable for only one occupant – just like a racing car, and the hydrofoil technology allows the boat to lift out of the water, reducing drag and enabling it to execute sharp tight turns in the water. A true racing boat!
Racebirds will be used in E1, the world-first electric racing series with boats, set in the grounds of some of the most stunning cities, and in cities where impacts of climate change will be felt most dearly.
