Biography

I am a Ph.D. student at Zhejiang University since September 2023, currently a visiting student at KAUST. I am passionate about studying the role of microbial communities in blue carbon sediment habitats. My research has focused on microbial-mediated greenhouse gas production and dark carbon fixation in these environments.

At KAUST, my goal is to analyze the metagenomics of marine sediments, investigating the roles of chemolithoautotrophic microorganisms and their contributions to carbon sequestration processes.
