Biography

Lutfi's research focuses on the ecology of coral reefs and its conservation. As one of the most vulnerable ecosystems to global climate change, He is interested in using various tools like genetics and genomics to understand the evolution and ecology of coral reefs around the world and apply this knowledge to better preserve them through approaches such as reef restoration and establishment of Marine Protected Areas.
