Biography

My research focuses on the study and characterization of bacterial communities associated with seagrasses, with special interest in those bacterial groups playing key roles in plant physiology. Any insight in the bacteria-seagrass relationship will be very helpful for the preservation of these worldwide endangered ecosystems.

Research Interests

Seagrass ecology, Marine microbiology, Nitrogen fixation, Nitrogen cycle
