Biography

The Technician Paloma Carrillo de Albornoz research focuses on understanding the impacts of global change in marine ecosystems. Her research interest involves the metabolic and elemental budgets of marine ecosystems. She has long experience working in lab using different techniques and operation of lab instruments as: TOC (Total Organic Carbon) Analyzers, PP Systems: EGM-4: Environmental Gas Monitor, Spectrophotometric seawater pH measurement, Trilogy Laboratory Fluorometer, Niskin bottles, Phytoplankton nets, sea-water incubators, etc. She has long time of experience planning and managing Research Cruises, acidification experiments conducted in laboratory and research vessels (including Arctic 
experiments). In addition she has participated in the Project management of six R+I+D projects.
